Roberton Show Society

On behalf of Roberton Show Society, I would like to thank all those who made the show possible. The many helpers and committee who worked tirelessly before, during and after the show, the judges on the day, and all the exhibitors, you all know who you are, there are too many of you to mention individually. I would also like to thank all who gave generously to the raffle, tombola and sales table, all the sponsors and patrons of the show, also the Scout Pipe Band for their music, the Fire Brigade for their demonstration, the Bike Track which attracted a lot of interest and all who came for the afternoon, we had an excellent day, and hope Roberton Show will be on the calendar for many years to come.

Thank you all once again.

June Wilson

Show Secretary

I am writing to thank you very much for your response to my letter asking for donations for the Raffle and Tombola. It was wonderful to receive so many great items. They all helped to make a very successful Raffle and Tombola stall.

The weather could have been a little warmer but everyone was cheerful and seemed to enjoy the day. Thanks to all who attended and bought tickets Our treasurer Mrs S Hobday said we made around £460 on the Raffle, £150 on the Tombola and £60 on the sales table.

I would also like to thank everyone for their help on the day.

Tea Tent

Sandra and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support of the ‘tea tent’ and for their patience while demand outstripped supply of ‘hot tea’ during the afternoon.

Thanks also for the donations of cakes but without the help of Heather, Morag, Cathy, Amanda, Rebecca, Judith, Daniele, Donald and David it wouldn’t be possible to make such a considerable contribution towards the show.

So a huge thank you to all involved.
