To all walkers of the Borthwick Water Valley, farmers would politely request that walking through farms is limited as much as possible during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Ideally, avoiding walks where touching of gates would be necessary. This will help keep our farmers safe and healthy during the very busy lambing season.
And, of course, remember that during the lambing season itself, avoid walking dogs through fields where there are sheep. If you must walk your dog through such a field, please ensure your dog is kept on the lead at all times.
