Once again the Gardener's Forum have an exciting programme of events for 2015. We start with the popular February supper which has as its theme this year 'An Arabian Night'. This will take the form of a bring and share supper and recipes will be supplied for everyone to work from. The aim is to have a wide variety of dishes for us all to try.
The following day we shall have our annual visit to Borders Organic Gardener's Potato Day at the Kelso Showground, followed by lunch in a local pub.
This year our Safari Supper will take place in June when we shall be able to visit three members' gardens to take a look around and enjoy supper.
Following the success of last year's plant swap we shall hold this event again in June (date to be confirmed but it will coincide with the mobile library visit to the Forman Hall).
On the 14th August we shall be visiting Monteviot Garden at Ancrum.
We are introducing a produce swap this year, again the date is still to be confirmed but it will also coincide with a visit from the Mobile Library at the Forman Hall. This will provide an opportunity for us to swap some of our glut of fruit and vegetables.
The Roberton Show will again have its usual class for the Gardner's Forum and we hope as many members as possible will enter.
The Harvest Supper will be held on the 4th October at the Forman Hall and this event will be open to all.
The year will be concluded with the annual Christmas Drinks Party.
