President Alison Riddell welcomed members to the AGM. The Secretary and Treasurer reports were read out and approved, then the votes were counted. The office bearers and committee members are as follows:

Committee: Pearl Anderson, Cathy Campbell, Frances Munro, Cathy Nicol.
Competition for a paperweight was won by Alison Riddell; second Margaret Anderson and Alison Riddell also won the raffle. The sales table raised £13.49.
The Mary Balmer Cup for most points in competitions during the year was awarded to Alison Riddell. The Lady Polwarth Shield for runner up to Jean Riddell and the Thimble was shared by Cathy Nichol and Norma Lutus.
The next meeting on Wednesday 13th November at 7.15 p.m. is a demonstration on Christmas decorations. The competition is a knitted jacket for a baby and there will be a sales table. We would be delighted if more valley residents would come along to join us.
